Web Design for Businesses Across South Africa
Custom websites for medical practices, law firms, lodges, restaurants, and small businesses. Mobile-responsive, SEO-optimised, and built so you can manage content yourself — training included. We work remotely, so location is not a barrier.
Your Website Is the First Meeting
Before a patient books an appointment, they look at your practice website. Before a corporate client contacts you, they look at your company page. Before a guest books a room, they look at your property online. In each case, the website is doing the work of a first meeting — establishing credibility, communicating what you do, and answering the question of whether to make contact.
A website that does not work on a phone, loads slowly, or has not been updated in years is not neutral. It communicates something specific: that the organisation does not prioritise its digital presence. For a practice, firm, or lodge competing for clients online, that is a significant disadvantage against competitors whose sites are current and functional.
A well-built website does several things simultaneously: it ranks on Google for searches your potential clients are already making; it answers their questions before they have to ask; and it gives them enough confidence to contact you. These are practical functions — not marketing outcomes — that a functional site performs and a poorly built one does not.
Who We Build Websites For
Professional Practices
Medical specialists, GPs, dentists, physiotherapists, attorneys, advocates, and accountants who need a site that communicates expertise, presents the team accurately, and gives patients or clients a clear path to making contact.
These sites are built to work correctly under professional regulatory frameworks — accurate descriptions, correct registration information where required, no misleading claims.
Hospitality, Tourism & Lodges
Guest lodges, game reserves, hotels, guest houses, restaurants, and tour operators who need a site that showcases the property visually and connects to a booking system where needed.
Photography and web design are inseparable for these clients. A beautiful property with poor images on a slow website loses bookings to an average property with better digital presentation.
Businesses & Rural Enterprises
Small and medium businesses — in Johannesburg or anywhere across South Africa — who need a professional online presence without the cost of a large agency. A clear, functional website that explains what you do and how to contact you is the foundation.
We work entirely remotely on web design. Whether you are in Mokopane, Swellendam, or the Vaal Triangle, the process is the same as if you were in Johannesburg.
Corporate & Organisational Sites
Corporate information sites, NGO and foundation websites, and organisations needing a reliable, maintainable presence for stakeholder and public communications — team pages, news sections, and portfolio or case study sections.
What Every Site Includes
All websites share the same build standard regardless of client type or size. Specific features and content vary — the underlying quality does not.
Mobile-First Design
Built to work on phones and tablets first. Over 90% of South African internet users access the web via mobile — a site that does not work on a phone does not work for most of your visitors.
SEO Foundation
Correct heading structure, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, schema markup, Google Business Profile integration, and page speed optimisation. A site that cannot be found on Google serves no one.
Content Management
Built on WordPress or a comparable CMS so you can update text, images, and content yourself without technical knowledge. Training on how to use it is included in every project.
Contact & Enquiry Forms
Spam-protected contact forms, click-to-call buttons, WhatsApp integration where appropriate, and Google Maps embedding for practices and venues with physical locations.
Image Galleries
Fast-loading, mobile-responsive galleries for hospitality, property, and portfolio sites — optimised for web delivery without visible quality loss.
Hosting & Maintenance
We can arrange hosting and ongoing maintenance — software updates, security monitoring, backups, and technical support — or hand the completed site over for self-hosting.
How a Project Works
Web projects are sequential — each stage depends on the previous being agreed. We do not begin development until the design is approved, and we do not populate content until the build is in place. This prevents rework and keeps projects on schedule.
-
Initial consultation. You describe what the business does, who it serves, and what the site needs to do. We ask clarifying questions and confirm scope.
-
Fixed quote. We provide a fixed quote covering the agreed scope. No estimates that expand later. Additional features are quoted separately before work begins.
-
Sitemap and structure. We agree on the page structure — which pages, what goes where, how the navigation works. This is the foundation everything else is built on.
-
Design approval. Mockups for key pages are produced for your approval before development begins. Changes at this stage cost nothing; changes after development begins take longer.
-
Development and content population. We build the approved design and populate it with your content — text, images, contact details. If photography is needed, this is when to coordinate a shoot.
-
Testing and review. We test across devices and browsers, check all forms and links, and review with you before launch. One revision round is included.
-
Training and handover. We walk you through managing your own content — adding posts, updating text, uploading images. The site is then live and under your control.
Timeline & Pricing
Typical Timelines
- Standard business website (5–8 pages): 4–6 weeks
- Professional practice site with enquiry integration: 5–7 weeks
- Hospitality or lodge site with gallery and booking: 6–8 weeks
- Complex or large-content sites: 8–12 weeks, discussed upfront
Timelines assume timely client feedback and content supply. Delays in content delivery extend timelines accordingly.
Pricing
Website pricing depends on page count, design complexity, and custom features required. We provide fixed quotes after a brief discussion — not hourly estimates.
Hosting and maintenance are quoted separately as ongoing monthly or annual costs, depending on your preference.
If you are commissioning photography for the website alongside the build, coordinating both as a single project is typically more efficient and avoids delays waiting for content.
Photography for Your New Website
A new website with outdated or stock photography does not accurately represent your business. If you need photography alongside the web project, we can coordinate both — one brief, one point of contact, shoot and build timed to work together.
Discuss Your Website Project
Tell us what your business does, who it serves, and what you need the website to do. We respond within 24 hours and provide a fixed quote after an initial brief. We work remotely — suitable for clients anywhere in South Africa.
